Frenchman Gregory Dupont joined Celtic FC as Head of Sport Science to set up a new department, using the latest research to improve players’ performance from the youth to the 1st team.
For this “Laboratory on the field” he used his skills as a former professional player, and his 7-year practice as a Fitness Coach for Lille Olympic Sporting Club as well as his experience as a lecturer for the university (PhD about high-intensity intermittent exercise).
Dupont left Celtic in June 2009. He is believed to be back at the University of Lille
