Six Football club mascots (L-R) “Pee Tee” from Partick Thistle,”Broxi Bear” from Rangers,”Hoopy the Huddle Hound” from Glasgow Celtic,” Jock the ****”from BBC Scotland’s Offside Programme, February 24 2004 compeating in the Pancake Race held, as they raise awarness for Cancer Research in the Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow. Scotland’s favourite football teams are urging people in Scotland to work up an appetite for Britain’s Biggest All Day Breakfast, throughout March, in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Vince The Parrot
The origins of the Parrot mascot are due to the below. On the last game of the 1993 season (see match, pictures), the club held a fancy dress comp to mark the last Celtic game in the old Parkhead jungle area, and the winner was a guy in a parrot cosutme with a sign saying “I’m as sick as a parrot!”
