"Glasgow", directed by Piotr Subbotko, has won the Centaur Prize at the "Message To Man" Festival in St. Petersburg. This is just another laurel won in the East by the film produced as part of the "30 minutes" programme, a joint initiative of the Munk Studio at the Polish Filmmakers Association, Wajda Studio, TVP Polish Public Television and the Polish Film Institute. In July, "Glasgow" won the "Golden Apricot" award for the Best Short Film at the festival in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia.

The Centaur, awarded at the "Message to Man" International Film Festival in St. Petersburg, is the reward crowning the best film debut. It is worth recalling that in 2007 the same award went to another short feature film produced under the "30 minutes" programme. It was Bartek Konopka's "Three For The Taking" (a production of the Munk Studio at the Polish Filmmakers Association, Wajda Studio, TVP Polish Public Television and the Polish Film Institute).

Celebrating its twenty-first anniversary, the festival is the only international FIAPF-recognised festival in Russia and the former Soviet Union countries that is entirely devoted to documentaries, shorts and animated films. The mission of the "Message to Man" Festival is to promote the role of short films in the world's cultural heritage. More than 350 titles were presented during September 23-30.
