This is David with his wife, Robina (see marriage certificate, above). The label has been added. I would guess this would be from sometime in the late 1800s, possibly around the time the club was founded. As seems to be the case with many of the men on the Committee, David, a shoemaker, appears here to be comparatively affluent for the East End of the time.
Dalbeth
The three tiered headstone behind David's in camillo's pictures is the Resting Place of John Glass – Brother Walfrid's right hand man.
Sadly what he think would have been a Celtic Cross on the top of that headstone is missing (2010)
