Aussie Goalkeeper of Serb extraction brought in by O'Neill after a short trial to cover Hedman's loan move to Ancona. Signed a £1-per-week short term contract to beat the transfer deadline, but was subsequently unable to agree terms and went back to Leeds citing "personal problems" and a back injury. Parallels to the Viduka situation were made in the press.

O'Neill tried to bring him back in March when Douglas was sent off and banned against Barcelona, but he refused and rookie David Marshall went on to take the glory in the Nou Camp. An unimpressed O'Neill then tore up the remaining £6's worth of Milosevic's contract.

His career began in Australia with Canberra Cosmos, but he was spotted at the 1997 U20 World Cup and Armenia Bielefeld took him to Germany along with team-mate Hayden Foxe. He finished 1997-98 at Preussen Munster but didn't appear for either German team and was back with Perth Glory for 1998-99. Despite also falling out favour with Perth he signed for Leeds United for £110,000 in January 2000.

Although stuck behind Nigel Martyn and Paul Robinson at Leeds Milosevic captained Australia at the Sydney Olympics, where the home side were papped out in the first round. Still no nearer the first team he was sent on loan to Wolves in 2001-02 (0 games) then Plymouth (1 game) and Crewe (1 game) the following season. The latter two had been cut short by a broken wrist and a knee injury. New Leeds boss Terry Venables axed Martyn and favoured Milosevic with a two-year contract extension in October 2002.

As Leeds went into financial meltdown, Scott Carson and Shaun Allaway were preferred to Milosevic as back-up to Robinson and the new contract began to look like folly. He was allowed to train with Crewe in summer 2003 but no deal materialised. By the time he arrived on trial at Celtic in January he hadn't played in over a year, but was still training at Leeds. The Yorkshire club had "freed" him in October 2003 but he was under no obligation to leave.

When relegated Leeds were put into administration, it was announced in September 2004 that Milosevic was one of the ex-players still owed money (£156,000). And when Leeds failed in the 2006 play-off final he was mentioned as another former player still being paid by the club.

In 2005 Milosevic joined New Zealand Knights in the Australian A-League but again fell out of favour and was playing with State-level Inglewood United by 2007. Signed a short-term deal to sit on Perth Glory's bench in September 2007.

Presently, Danny is now owner of One 2 One football, a football coaching, promotion, consultation and worldwide football marketing company. A new brand of Goalkeeping gloves designed by Danny called XSENTR1Q was launched recently onto the worldwide market.
