In response to a Celtic fan who found a Centenary medal in his loft whilst clearing out, here are pictures of both the front and back of the medallion.
The coin itself measures roughly 5cm in diameter.
Any help and information on this item – its history etc etc – would be gratefully received

I believe that this one is silver and would have been given out by Celtic to celebrate their centenary. I have heard there where 100 gold ones produced (limited edition) and given to players and the board members but i have yet to see one.
From Tomvox – see thread for details
My gold plated edition came in a padded commemorative case
