Celtic Career Review
An Irish youth international goalkeeper at U14 to U16 level who excelled with St. Aloysius School and St.Joseph's FC in his native Athlone. He apparently signed with the club during 04/05 after choosing Celtic ahead of various interested English clubs and was due to arrive full-time the following summer.
Was with Celtic for only a very short time – if at all – before heading back across the water.
Then played some games for Athlone Town's youth team but seemed to concentrate on his burgeoning Gaelic football career, turning out for the Clann na nGael club and County Roscommon.
In 2009 he resurrected his 'soccer' career and signed for eircom Division One Longford Town, where he will understudy another GAA star, Brendan Murphy, ex-Bradford City, Wimbledon and Co. Meath.
