Biog
A striker brought over for trials during 1997/98 and snapped up from Dungarvan United early the following season.
Immediately hit the goal trail for the Youth Team and was a prolific regular over his two seasons at that level, also winning U17 International caps.
But when he moved up to the U21 team for 2000/01 he found his chances limited. At a time when most Celtic fans were jubilant at winning the treble, Sullivan and fellow U21 sub Tadg Moriarty were allowed to pursue their careers elsewhere.
Sullivan then signed a one year deal with big-spending Livingston, who were cobbling together an U21 squad for their first ever season in the SPL. He made a single League Cup appearance for Livi before tiring of Youth football and joining Cowdenbeath on loan that March. Amongst others, he had been behind portly future-Celt David Fernandez in the Livingston pecking order.
Left Cowdenbeath at the end of the season to play for his local club Waterford United, where he has been a regular ever since – barring a season with Cork City in 2006 and a spell playing Gaelic football with Dungarvan in 2009.
