THAT PHOTO YOU ASKED ABOUT, THE ONE WITH BOBBY MURDOCH DRINKING WHAT APPEARS TO BE A CUP OF TEA, APPEARS IN ‘FEYENOORD COMPLEET – NO. 36 , CELTIC GLASGOW ‘ , PUBLISHED IN 1997. IT WAS ONE OF A SERIES OF GLOSSY PARTWORKS, PUBLISHED PERHAPS WEEKLY/ MONTHLY , WHICH BUILT UP INTO AN ‘ENCYCLOPEDIC’ HISTORY OF THE DUTCH CLUB . SPECIAL BINDERS WOULD BE AVAILABLE TO FACILITATE THE COLLECTION. THIS PARTICULAR 24 – PAGE PARTWORK, BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED WITH COLOUR AND B/W PHOTOS, IS DEVOTED TO A BRIEF HISTORY OF CELTIC ,PLUS PROFILES OF JIMMY JOHNSTONE AND HENRIK LARSSON,AND COVERAGE OF ALL THEIR5 MATCHES AGAINST CELTIC TO THAT DATE ( MOST NOTABLY THE 1970 EUROPEAN CUP FINAL , BUT ALSO A HAMPDEN PARK FRIENDLY IN 1971 AND 3 ROTTERDAM TOURNAMENT MATCHES IN 1981 AND 1982) . THE DRESSING ROOM PHOTO , LISTED AS A 1968 ONE, ISLISTED AS BEING SUPPLIEDBY ‘SPAARNESTAD FOTOARCHIEF, HAARLEM’ , A DUTCH PHOTOGRAPH AGENCY. THE PHOTOGRAPHER IS NOT NAMED. AS YOU KNOW , I WAS OF THE IMPRESSION THAT IT WAS TAKEN BY GERRY CRANHAM, ONE OF A SERIES WHICH I THINK – AND I STRESS ‘THINK ‘ -WAS TAKEN BY HIM AT THE SPURS MATCH AT HAMPDEN IN 1967.
