QUEEN'S PARK BEATEN AGAIN
The Queens Park suffered another defeat in their game with the Celtic at Parkhead, Glasgow, which was played before a small attendance.
Play was hard throughout, but never reached a high standard.
There was no doubt as to the Celtic's general superiority, and they did by far the greater amount of attacking, but with McGrory and Napier absentees they were not very deadly in front of goal. And the Queen's Park suffered from the same fault, though they had far fewer opportunities.
McStay was a strong man in the Celtic half-back line, and others who did well were Hogg at back and Buchan in the front line.
Most prominent for the amateurs, who gave a disappointing display, were Dickson, Gardiner, and Taylor.
The Celtic got two goals in the first half by H. O'Donnell and McStay, and in the second, after Martin had reduced the Queen's Park leeway, A. Thomson made the issue sure for the Celtic by getting a third goal.
