Review
Celtic appeared determined to make everyone believe that the previous poor performance against Partick Thistle was a blip and started at a cracking pace. Hibs defended in depth throughourt the first half. In the secon things were somewhat more even with both teams having shots on goal. Jim Kennedy had hiis name taken for upending Scott. John Divers playing at centre forward gave the Hibs defenders trouble. On 75 minutes Murdoch put Celtic ahead with a good individual goal beating two men before unleashing a shot that had Simpson well beaten. almost immediately Hibs came back and got an equaliser through Stevenson.
