Review
Celtic are crowned the league champions.
At half time with the score 0-0 the Celtic fans learned that Aberdeen were leading Rangers 4-0 at half time. One more Aberdeen goal in the second half (and a winner for St Mirren) would nick them the title.
Celtic heard their nerve in the second half. Tommy Burns brilliantly created two goals for George McCluskey and Tom McAdam's header was adjudged to have gone over the line.
At the final whistle the fans celebrated joyously and the players danced all over the pitch before a good natured crowd invasion.
Injured Celts McGarvey, Nicholas, Conroy, and Sullivan could all be seen celebrating at the end.
Everyone remembers the 1986 League win against St Mirren but this one was just as good.
I don't know how to add the Celtic Underground Video Highlights, so if somebody else knows, feel free to add the widget. Thanks to CU for the video.
