Celtic Career Review
Signed by John Clark as a 16 year old from North Mechiston Boys Club in late 1978. He immediately took a place in the Reserves and was also challenging for a regular starting place with that team. He never played a competitive match for Celtic but did play in a Friendly against Queen of the South in January 1979 and in the Glasgow Cup semi final against Clyde in May 1979 when Celtic put out a Reserve team. With the lack of a chance of breaking into the first team he moved on to Arbroath where he became a regular first team player but moved on when there was a management change at Gayfield and training arrangements changed. He enjoyed a decent career in football and was a valued player at Dunfermiline.
