My GenerationTicket for Who concert

The legendary rock group The Who played a concert at Celtic Park in 1976 as part of a stadium tour.

Other venues included Charlton Athletic, which was shown live on TV.

Other acts on the bill included Alex Harvey Band, Streetwalkers, the Outlaws and Little Feat.

The stage was in the main stand and the crowd watched standing on the playing field.

Concert started about 2pm leading up to The Who coming on at 8pm.

The Who were not at their best but it was worth it just to stand on the park especially when the lights came on.

We’re sure it was very very loud!
