"The appointment of the new chairman was of course the main issue at the AGM, although one other appointment was made to the board, with lifelong supporter and former British Telecom board member, Ian Livingston, bringing his vast experience and knowledge from the Information Technology industry.
His appointment was also passed with a landslide majority, as was the re-election of current board members Brian McBride, Eric Riley and Dermot Desmond."
He recently caused a degree of controversy by leading a group of businessmen to deliver a register of thanks and confidence to George Osborne for the series of Conservative Party instituted government cuts which, despite constant appraisal that "we are all in this together", will hit precisely the kind of people attending Celtic games as fans rather than those that sit up in the Directors Box.
