  • Jim Blyth – Goalkeeping Coach under Gordon Strachan
  • Terry Gennoe – Goalkeeping Coach under John Barnes and Martin O’Neill
  • Joe Corrigan, goalkeeping coach for a spell. Brady’s time ?
  • Peter Latchford was goalie coach at some point as well, under Jansen???
  • Pat Bonner – goalkeeping coach under TB.
  • Henry Smith – Barnes added a ”thank you” to former Hearts’ keeper Henry Smith who had helped Celtic out on a short-term basis over the past two weeks, saying: ”Henry was a great help and we owe him our gratitude for the time he spent with us.”

Groundsmen

  • Charlie McCann – groundsman at Celtic Park and Barrowfield for a number of years until around 1996 or 97
  • Charlie Docherty – in 1959 and 70 years old, was the chief groundsman and “far and away the longest serving member of Celtic’s staff.” He was the son-in-law of former trainer and groundsman Willie Quinn. The other groundsman at the time was H. Docherty “no relation.”

  • Jimmy McStay – ex-manager and player Jimmy McStay was a Celtic scout in the late 50’s and early 60’s but was actually sacked by Celtic at the end of the 1960-61 season
  • Tom Harvey from Falkirk was a scout for many years.

  • Steve Callaghan – Scout for Maley: 1921 until late 50s
  • Peter O’Connor – scout in Ireland after WW2 – recommended Bertie Peacock

  • Alexander Maley – Brother of Tom & Willie and was a scout for Celtic. He also managed Clyde and Hibs. In cesis of late 1800’s he’s noted as being an “athletic outfitter”

  • Willie Johnstone – First Team Trainer (1956 – 1961) – left Celtic by mutual accord 15/5/61
  • Bob Rooney (1961-64)- came from Cambuslang Rangers and initially assistant to Willie Johnstone then appointed full trainer after Johnstone left the club.Bob Rooney and Sean Fallon
  • Neil Mochan (1964 – 94) Although given the title “kit controller” or something like that around the time when wee Fergus arrived, he was pretty much “hands on” with the first team up until his death in 94
